Access Keys
Your browser may use certain key combinations as shortcuts defined by the web site. On windows this will be using ALT + the Access Key. On the Mac this will be using Control + the Access Key. The resulting behaviour will vary, depending on the browser you use.
- Access Key 1 - Home Page
- Access Key 9 - Feedback
- Access Key 0 - Accessibility Statement
Standards Compliance
- According to our interpretation of the Bobby online accessibility service, the site achieves "Bobby Worldwide AAA" Approval. This is the highest approval rating. While some of the tests are automated, others must be evaluated by hand. We believe we have done this fairly and accurately.
- The main pages of this site validate as HTML 4.01 Transitional. This can be tested using the W3C validator link at the bottom of the page.
- The site uses semantic markup;
H1 tags are used for the Main Titles, and H2 tags are used for section headings.
Navigation Aids
At present, the site is too small to merit the use of search boxes or rel meta tags to aid navigation. These will gradually be added as the site grows.
Links
Links on the site should have a title, unless the target of the link is obvious or has already been explained on the page.
Images
All images on the site have ALT attributes. For images that have only decorative value, this will be set to an empty string.
